It is designed for use as a freestanding umbrella over a patio sofa set (base not included) or with an outdoor dining table (ranging from 42-54″). The patio umbrella is engineered to last with a 103″ diameter canopy made from 100% solution-dyed 220g acrylic Sunbrella fabric. Solution-dyed means that the fibers the fabric is made from are dyed before woven which results in a more long-lasting, fade and stain resistant color. The 2000-hour color fastness means that this fabric will not fade as quickly as others. The umbrellas 1.5″ diameter pole means that it can fit most standard-size bases. The pole is steel with an attractive speckled bronze powder coating.
