Changing shop vac filters often is strongly recommended to increase the vac’s performance and to help extend vacuum life as it protects the motor from harmful debris. This product offers one foam filter with a structured core that fits all RIDGID wet/dry shop vacs 3 Gal. to 4.5 Gal. and should only be used for wet pickups. RIDGID provides other filtration offerings, including VF3400 General Dirt Filter (sold separately), VF3500 Fine Dust Filter (sold separately), VF3600 HEPA Material Filter (sold separately), and VF3800 HEPA Filter (sold separately), depending on the job application and type of cleanup mess. Also, a value pack size of 8-count is available to accommodate a variety of project needs.
