When backup generator power becomes active, an automated response will shed any loads configured as nonessential. Controlling high-current loads with 2nd Gen Smart Circuit Breakers can eliminate the need for a secondary Essential Loads Panel when a Leviton Load Center is powered by a compatible generator. Remotely scheduling and controlling circuits with 2nd Gen Smart Circuit Breakers gives homeowners a simple and effective way to prevent unnecessary usage and save money.
