If it detects battery sulfation, the charger can also go into battery recondition mode to rejuvenate the battery. The pl2140 includes a special recovery mode feature, which allows the operator to determine how the charger reacts to power outages. Setting recovery mode to on allows the charger to automatically resume charging after a power outage, eliminating the need to reset the charger.
