The PUR 12 GPM Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System provides an effective and environmentally friendly method for disinfecting the entire water supply in your home or cottage. This UV system is tested and certified against NSF/ANSI Standard 55 Class B to ensure safe and superior disinfection. The naturally safe UV lamp destroys 99.99% of harmful microbial bacteria and cysts, as well as viruses, including E. coli, salmonella and legionella, without the use of any chemicals. The compact axial flow design ensures improved disinfection. The exclusive VuCap design allows you to see the UV lamp working. After 1-year of operation, the electronic controller, with a countdown timer, is designed with an audible and visible alarm to remind you when it is time to change the UV lamp.
