The KidCo Gateway® is the perfect solution for heavily traveled doorways and room openings. It incorporates exclusive Pressure-Plus Technology, which forces additional pressure on the door frame when the handle is locked after each use, providing extra stability and security. No tools needed for installation. Optional extensions are available for larger openings up to 6 feet. Note: KidCo does not recommend pressure mount gates for top of stairs use, even with hardware mounted wall cups. There is a bar at the bottom of all pressure mount gates that helps keep the gate in place and this bar can be a tripping hazard when placed at the top of stairs.
