Protect irrigation system components used for reclaimed water and house them in a safe, clean environment with the 14 in. X 19 in. Valve Box and Cover. The purple irrigation valve box and lid make it easy to identify fixtures used for reclaimed water. The sturdy box is built to withstand the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and deter potential vandalism. Both the box and lid are engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for toughness. Precut pipe hole makes direct irrigation pipe connections more convenient than digging around the box. Inside, the box features a built-in bolt hole with brass nut; lid can be secured with a 2-1/2 in. X 3/8 in. bolt (113BB, sold separately). Overlapping cover blocks dirt and debris from getting into the box and is marked for reclaimed water usage. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. Valve box is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and lid is made of polypropylene (PP), both using a combination of virgin and recycled materials. Box and cover are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking due to sun exposure.
