This Sammys 8137957 Rod Hanger provides a secure anchor for threaded rods with its 3/8 in. female fitting on the screw head. The Teks technology drill bit on the tip of the fastener drills its own hole and grips solidly into the steel base, securing a tight connection between the rod and the base (retaining nut is included). Its ball-and-socket swivel head allows the rod to be turned in any direction without getting distorted. Ultra-sturdy, highly durable and easy to use, it is the ideal choice for hanging sprinklers, pipes, electrical devices and HVAC equipment to steel purlin, structural beams and open web joist.
